Ukraine: Securing and evacuation of artworks and archives

Series: #SolidarityWithUkraine

In consequence of the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, Ukrainian artists are in danger or on the run. Historical, cultural and artistic heritage is being strategically attacked and destroyed, as evidenced by the news of the burning of the Ivankiv Museum, the attack on the Holocaust memorial "Babyn Yar" and the bombing of Peace Square in Kharkiv. From the beginning of the Russian aggression on Ukraine, initiatives and activists like Alona Karavai and Anna Potyiomkina of Асортиментна кімната in Ivano-Frankivsk have been working to save ukrainian artworks and archives
