Prof. Stephan Kudert studied business administration at the University of Berlin and received his doctorate in 1989. In 1990 he completed the tax advisor exam. In 1995 he completed his habilitation at the Free University Berlin. Since 1995 Kudert has been a professor at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). He is visiting professor at European School of Management and Technology Berlin (ESMT), lecturer at the University of Hamburg in the Master of International Taxation, director of the Institute for Central and East European Taxation at the Collegium Polonicum, and director of training to technical consultants for International Tax Law at the German Scientific Institute of Tax Advisors. He is also a permanent lecturer at the Federal Chamber of Tax Consultants.
