For our research project "Intimate life during state socialism in comparative perspective" funded by the Czech Science Foundation, we seek a colleague with background in history and/or social sciences and fluent (preferably native) knowledge of Polish. A successful candidate will hold a PhD or be nearing completion having acquired proficiency in qualitative and/or archival research. We expect an interest in gender and sexuality, ability to work creatively and independently sharing research results with an international team. While we want our new colleague to conduct research with sources written in Polish, we publish our results in English and count on you to do the same. Since your research will comprise of identifying and finding relevant Polish historical documents, your preferable location is Poland.
We offer this research position for 1 to 2 years with expected workload of up to 13 hours/week and remuneration of 400 euro/month. This position does not constitute employment.
