Intensive German language course within German-Polish Summer Program

European University Viadrina in Frankfurt Oder (Germany) offers an intensive six-week-long language course (as an equivalent of one academic year) of German language instruction. The course will be taught by a professional experienced instructor from academic environment. According to the participants' profile, the course will be instructed at intermediate or advanced level. There will be only small classes so that the instructors can react to each student needs individually. The classes will be from Monday to Thursday in a regular time every week.

The intensive German language course will be an integral part of Viadrina summer school "Contact Zones in Central Europe" which is co-organized by the Center for Interdisciplinary Polish Studies. Viadrina is located directly on German-Polish border. Hence, the summer school is focused mainly on issues concerning both Germany and Poland. The participants of the language course can enjoy the program of the summer school as well. They can attend selected classes taught in English, German or Polish. They can take part at excursions, film screenings as well as guest lectures.
