Notes from Poland is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are passionate about helping the world to understand Poland and want to gain experience working as part of a small, hard-working editorial team.
Candidates should be able to begin an internship in October 2021 that will last for 6-12 months, during which time they should be available to work for a minimum of 10 hours a week on average. Work will take place remotely, meaning that candidates can be based anywhere. Hours can be flexible and fitted around other work or study commitments.
Interns will be given a range of tasks, including writing, administration, communication and website management. They will have the opportunity to be involved in the development of an organisation named as one of Europe's media startups to watch in 2021.
Candidates must be able to write and communicate effectively in English. Preference will be given to those with a high level of Polish, but candidates with lower levels of fluency will also be considered. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress, and any other IT skills are an advantage.
As a small nonprofit media organisation funded by donations and grants, we regret that we are unable to offer pay for the internship itself. However, interns are paid for articles published on our website, and will be encouraged and helped to do so.
To apply for the position, please send a CV along with a covering letter/email briefly explaining why you want to do an internship with Notes from Poland and what makes you suited to the role to email@example.com by 6 October.
Applications should be in English.
